Isatu is a group of smallholder rice farmers in Sierra Leone for whom it’s essential to purchase quality rice seeds. Their main aim was to become independent of local investors who charged them 100% interest, and to run their own businesses.

Together with 91 other lenders, we raised $3.475 to help this wonderful group on women!

They are now using this money to obtain quality agricultural inputs to improve their yields and increase the land under cultivation to boost their incomes.
